To celebrate the launch of the website we are giving away this gorgeous vintage Moroccan wedding blanket!

I've never been to Morocco although it's the one place in the world I would love to visit...Until such time,though, I live vicariously through other people's accounts of their travels, and beautiful, beautiful things like the ones offered by Beyond Marrakech.

I've followed your blog, facebook and twitter for sometime and have been keeping a close eye on the Beni Ouarain rugs. The BO185 is very close to what I have in mind, just not sure it's wide enough. Have to do the inches/cm conversion. You have lovely, unique Moroccan items and it would be a dream come true to win the wedding blanket. It's on my wishlist!

Your website is really very beautiful (and I don't tell you this to flatter you, but as a graphic designer!), runs smoothly and reminds me again why I do love Marrakech. Of course, I've always dreamt of owning a Moroccan carpet but what with my white-haired dog, I've never thought it would be a good idea. So I declare that it's a pouffe I like best; of course, the MLP15 Vintage Style pouffe. Each time I went to Marrakech, I bought at least one pouffe. Now it's my ex-bf who enjoys them - why tells us both that I absolutely must return to Marrakech, mustn't I? ;-) Oh, and OF COURSE, I "liked" your FB page. ReplyDeleteI have loved Moroccan wedding blankets since I first saw them used as windbreaks and perameter fences around a camp near Erg Chebbi in the Moroccan Sahara. The sequins twinkled in the sun as we drank a mint tea with the manager. Your collection is beautiful, but I think my favourite is H343 - I love the blue against the ivory! The wedding blankets are my ultimate favourite - I could just see one of those adorning our bed in our home in England, being admired by many and delighted in by my hubby and I. And, if not too greedy, I would love the BO164 BENI OUARAIN carpet. I LOVE bright colors so I am naturally drawn to the peacock blue handira (H472). But I adore all the creme colored handiras, especially those with the bushy bands and LOTS of sparkle!!
