    Hello,

    I love these rugs, but I'm very sceptical concerning the possibility to have one at home without ruining it right away with three kids, a dog and living in a country where people don't take their shoes off when visiting someone's house..
    How do you clean these, are they dirt resistant?

    why isn't anyone replying to these last 2 posts? I also live on farm w/ dogs and mud and dirt and hardwood floors and would love one of these rugs. how does one clean these? thank you. holly

      Hi Holly,
      Thank you for your comment! The Beni Ouarain carpets are reasonably dirt resistant. They were originally made for domestic use in very simple homes and even tents. They can be vacuumed and even cleaned with water and detergents suitable for woolen carpets.

    Lovely Rugs you' got there.
    We're from sweden and looking for a rug with the size around 210x170, somewhere around that size, but having trouble finding something like that.
    Is it never made in those sizes or just very rare?

    And also, you know the shipping cost for shipping to sweden?

    Thanks for visiting my blog! It won't be easy to find a vintage Beni Ouarain carpet in the size that you require but there are newly handwoven carpets are available in that approximate size. More Beni Ouarain carpets can be found on my new website www.beyondmarrakech.com

    If you really like the 'soul' of the vintage carpets than an Azilal carpet could be an alternative.

    I just want to join the chorus of appreciative voices above...I just love Beni Ouarain carpets, the simplicity of the design, they're just gorgeous. If I had the space I would put them in every room. Also the little table on the very first photo on this blog page - is that a "hobbs" table? Love it! Best, Peter

    I was just wondering if I could get one custom made (as in picking the colors) My husband and I are building a home and it will have a long hallway upstairs that something like this would be perfect.
